London is a huge city with a massive variety of places to live & lots of flats for sale.  As such it is impossible to narrow down the right place for you to live without quite a lot of extensive research.  However, there are some areas which stand out from the crowd for various reasons.  As a general rule, places within the West End are busy and close to a lot of night life, those within West London can be quite pricey, East London is attracting a lot of arty types and North London is much the same.  South London is changing a lot at the moment and trying with some success to shake off its rougher luck.

The borough of Bexley is 12 miles south east of the city centre and boasts over 1500 acres of open space and parkland.  Hosting many summer events is the large Danson Park and there are many places of historical interest such as Hall Place and Lenses Abbey.  This is a fantastic place to live if you like to have some space to roam in.

Camden is a vivid borough offering a diverse range of attractions.  Well noted for its underground music scene and boutique style shopping, Camden also boasts ownership of Regents Park which is noted for its open air theatre and zoo.  Adding to the atmosphere is the British Library which hosts a fantastic 150 million books.  This area is perfect for those always looking for something new and interesting to do.

If you want to live even more centrally than that you may consider Westminster.  This area contains some of London’s best shopping, with Covent Garden, Soho, Carnaby Street and Oxford Street being just a few obvious ones to mention.  As well as the shopping, Westminster boasts Buckingham Palace and Westminster as places of interest and the theatres and musical venues of the West End attract tourists from all over the world.  Truly one of the busiest and most exciting places to live in London.
